Employee fundraising is an excellent way to increase staff morale and motivation and provides the perfect opportunity for team building and social events. Most importantly, it’s a chance to have fun while raising money! We can provide support and publicity materials you need to make every fundraising event a success.
The children we work with face huge challenges every day. Why not challenge yourself and raise money for ThePromise by taking part in an event, such as running or cycling? Click here to to see information on Open Charity Events that you can take part in to raise money for ThePromise. Events include walks, runs, swims, cycle rides and more, there are opportunities for people at all levels of fitness. To help in your fundraising you can set up a page on justgiving
Payroll giving is the easiest way for your staff to make a regular donation to ThePromise and it’s tax free. This means that a donation of £5 per month only costs the basic rate taxpayer £4 (the taxman pays the rest!).
Setting up and promoting payroll giving in your company is easy to do – we can help by arranging for someone from ThePromise to speak to your employees about how their monthly support will make a difference to children’s lives.
Charity of the Year
By nominating ThePromise as your Charity of the Year, you can unite your staff in support of a powerful cause.
We can help you make the most out of any fundraising activities, providing advice, support and promotional materials such as DVDs and leaflets. Our PR agency can also help promote the partnership through local and national media generating positive publicity and strengthening your brand.
Gifts in Kind
‘Gifts in Kind’ can free up money that would otherwise have been spent on overheads. This allows us to spend more of our resources and time on helping vulnerable children and families. Gifts in kind might include a meeting room for the day or food or drink for a fundraising event.
We may be able to offer staff the opportunity to use their skills and experience to make a valuable, long-term contribution to the work of ThePromise through skill based volunteering. Get in touch today and find out how you could help us develop as an organisation.
