Russianclothes swap swish – may 2010
This was a great fundraising idea…guests brought 3 items of good quality clothes or accessories to the party and swapped them for items that one of the other guests had brought along. Shoes, handbags and designer jeans were particularly popular. The guests paid £10 on the door and enjoyed a glass of bubbly whilst browsing the items on offer before the ‘swish’ started. The evening raised over £300 for ThePromise and was an excellent way of updating your wardrobe (and de-cluttering).
